Clan Wars Jyhad
I. Deck Construction:
- A. Each player plays one clan and one clan only.
- B. Remove all cards which deal directly with the crypt; there is no
crypt in Clanwars
- C. Remove all cards which deal with "uncontrolled vampires"; all vampires
are considered "controlled"
- D. Any card or action which specifically targets Prey or Predator should
be read to become Directed at the player of your choice. (For example, the
two Nosferatu vampires who look at the top cards of the Prey's deck can now
look at the top card of any player's deck
II. Setup
- A. Each player selects 30 (45)(60) Blood worth of vampires to begin the
game, and this blood cost must include the Clan Justicar. All vampires
must be unique.
- B. All vampires start with full blood, including the Justicar.
III. Playing
The game plays as a normal Jyhad game, with the following exceptions:
- A. At the start of the influence phase, The Justicar of the player
whose turn it is gains 1 blood from the blood bank. The Justicar may then
exchange blood with his or her vampires as with transfers in Jyhad; 1.e., 1
transfer to move 1 blood from the Justicar to another vampire, 2 to move a
blood from a vampire to the justicar.
- B. Any card which calls for loss/gain of blood POOL will affect the
Justicar's blood total; For example, Ascendance will give 1 blood to the
Justicar, Short term investment will cost 1 blood from the Justicar, but
return 3 to him or her over three master phases.
- C. A justicar may not spend more blood than he has on his or her card in
this way. (i.e., a justicar with only 1 blood may not play an Unnatural
Disaster)
- D. A Justicar may not gain more blood than his or her capacity by any
means.
- E. If a player's justicar dies or is in torpor, he or she may no longer
play Master cards, pay POOL for items, Vote, etc.
- F. The Justicar may take actions as normal.
III. Winning
- A. The winner is the player who has Vampires left standing at the end of
the game.
- B. A player need not have his Justicar alive to win.
