Software Developer: Wrote low level device drivers for x86 microcontrollers, focusing on USB devices and embedded Linux systems. Published an application note on USB.
September 1996 to May 1998: Southwest Research Institute, San Antonio, TX
Graduate Student Analyst: Used Motif, OpenGL, Performer, and the Irix Digital Media Libraries to develop a wide variety of GUIs for use with the Weather Channel Virtual Weather System.

Related Experience

Fall 1996 to Spring 1997
Designed and programmed a temperature control system based around a Motorola MC6805 microprocessor. Final system included A/D conversion, pulse width modulation, and LED display drivers.
