Welcome Aboard the Nautilus!

Abode of Captain Nemo

otherwise known as John Nunn

Lessee ... there's not much here yet, because, well, I've been kinda lazy since the wreck, which isn't much of an excuse since that's been about a year now. At least I finally got around to trying to put a picture from the wreck on that page. Maybe one of these days I'll actuallky be able to convince Netscape that it's a JPEG, and not just broken. One of these days I'll actually break down and put a little about myself on here.

Fine. Some of it now. I'm a phy ... er ... computer science major here at The University of Tennessee, at least now. I went about 4.5 years as a physics major, then decided last year to shift over to CS. It's one of those odd things, I suppose. Also, I'm one of those Whittle Scholar-types, a member of the first class, in fact. Ooo, ahh. :) I'll probably still be here long after my classmates have left, though.

Let's see ... anything else interesting about me? I enjoy gaming of various sorts, and reading. Fiction is generally good, especially all sorts of speculative fiction, from classic F&SF to historical "what-if" type books. Historical fiction in general is another of my ... weaknesses. And to stray from "literature" a moment, I love comic strips, though you'd better have a graphical browser if you follow that link. In addition, I've recently been named to a government position in Lautenia, a very nice and peaceful country. You should visit there, and look over the Official Timeline once it comes into being.

I'll add pictures to things later. I finally have a decent pic of myself that I wouldn't mind publicly displaying, but I'll have to get it scanned sometime. Ditto with some of the wreck photos. Yeah, and cool neat-o links. I'm still trying to decide what to include. :)

These are a few of my favorite things....

Okay, a few friends' home pages for now.

I'll finish the cool links later. :)
  • Jonathan Bell (isn't alphabetical order great?)
  • The Birds. No, not the Hitchcock movie, Billy and Bobby
  • Ellen Brundige, aka Sepdet on GarouMUSH. She's cool, and she does cool work, so.
  • Aaron Coffey, since he was complaining about not being here.
  • Markus Iturriaga
  • Brian Landwehr, one of my oldest net.friends
  • Neal Oldham
  • Scotti Whitmire (or Anne-Scott, if you want to be technical)
