Fine. Some of it now. I'm a phy ... er ... computer science major here at The University of Tennessee, at least now. I went about 4.5 years as a physics major, then decided last year to shift over to CS. It's one of those odd things, I suppose. Also, I'm one of those Whittle Scholar-types, a member of the first class, in fact. Ooo, ahh. :) I'll probably still be here long after my classmates have left, though.
Let's see ... anything else interesting about me? I enjoy gaming of various sorts, and reading. Fiction is generally good, especially all sorts of speculative fiction, from classic F&SF to historical "what-if" type books. Historical fiction in general is another of my ... weaknesses. And to stray from "literature" a moment, I love comic strips, though you'd better have a graphical browser if you follow that link. In addition, I've recently been named to a government position in Lautenia, a very nice and peaceful country. You should visit there, and look over the Official Timeline once it comes into being.
I'll add pictures to things later. I finally have a decent pic of myself that I wouldn't mind publicly displaying, but I'll have to get it scanned sometime. Ditto with some of the wreck photos. Yeah, and cool neat-o links. I'm still trying to decide what to include. :)
Music: Eclectic as all Hell, basically. A little of
everything from Aerosmith to
Sarah
McLachlan. Of course, there's always a good chance that your tastes don't
coincide with mine. For those poor souls, I offer a link to The Ultimate Band
List
Movies: Lessee ... there are a few places with Web sites,
most notably Universal Studios and
my personal favorite, Disney.
My current favorite movie and Web page combo is definitely
The Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition.
Roleplaying:
Since I haven't put together my Gaming page
yet, I'll just have to toss something in here. Among other things, I like
White Wolf's World of Darkness, especially online on GarouMUSH. I may
be a bit too much into it, in fact, since I even have a web page for one of my
characters, Patrick. From his page you can access
the page for St. Claire City University, one of my ongoing projects. Actually,
the SCCU "page" is more of a site now, since I worked on it while
cooped up at home, stuck in the snow. If you
want to put together a page for an organization of some sort at SCCU, just let
me know. Also, I've recently put together a page for the fictional Wolf Woods National Park, also part of GarouMUSH. Check
it out and compare to real pages in the National
Park Service site.
