For Christmas, my friend Andrew Ku (the guru of Playbill Online) gave me a copy of the original cast recording of The Last Session. And I am hooked. There is something completely unique about this particular production. The music itself is intensely, gut-wrenchingly emotional, even through the humorous parts, but it is so honest. Steve Schachlin (the composer) is surviving with AIDS, and in bringing his story to the net and to the stage, he and his partner Jim Brochu has created a focal point. It is a stirring exploration of humanity, and seldom is such honesty so documented on the internet.

I have started getting a look at celebrities who host their own websites, maybe for self promotion, and sometimes just for saavy fun! Here are Stephen Schwartz (I just adore his music), Sam Harris, Tony Jay (you don't know the name? I'll bet you know the voice).

Ok, I admit it. I am a dueS'er. I watch this TV show regularly. Why is it that I like all sorts of Canadian TV shows? From the Kids in the Hall to Forever Knight, they seem to appeal to me. Well, Due South is certainly a special show, with its own cult following. If you downloaded the Flash plugin/control, then the Due South home page, and the Two Houses site (for Paul Gross's CD) will look great!

Let's not forget the fans! These are fanclubs. They range from hi-tech (B5) to humble but very very reverent.
