the flow of the net
New stuff last added on: 9 January 1997
This is Joe Ragosta's Mac Advocacy page, and this is the place for you Mac Advocates to frequent. It is a fairly sparse site, but it gets to the point right away. I like that, no fluff, all straightforward.http://www.starmax.net http://www.powerwatch.com Disaster struck when Apple decided that clones weren't helping it (a point of view I disagree with), and pulled the plug on the cloning project. The above are a couple of support groups for two of the popular clone lines. I frequent Ben's Starmax.net site myself. If one is ever shopping for anything for the Mac, you should always check here first. Amazing stuff happens, really. Never buy software at full price if you can afford it.

With the merger of MacUser and MacWorld, the number of available print magazines covering the Mac has decreased. Long staples of Mac journalism.

MacCentral and The Macintosh News Network provides up to the second reporting, updated all the time, in the world of Mac computing. The two are a bit of competitors, but each does a pretty good job. If up to the minute reporting isn't enough, you can always go to the future! Check out the rumors in the pipeline... Ric Ford's most excellent up to date website describes some of the cutting edge news about Macs, as well as hands on tips and warnings from folks and experts on the field. Powering the Mac through the web, as the site says. A pretty meaty link specifically describing the role that the Mac plays in the development and evolution of the WWW.
