Welcome to my personal site. A long neglected one, but with a spiffy new main page to replace the old ugly page that was here before,
This started out as my first attempt at HTML coding, back in early 1995, when "home pages" were all the rage. So I had many subject-specific sub-pages reflecting my major interests, with links to other websites that I found interesting and/or provocative. I'll probably reformat and update at least a few of them someday. They are damned fugly to look at now, and almost all of the links are defunct, but if you're really curious, you can look at 'em here:

I also had a politics page, but that got replaced by a mailing list I've been moderating for a while now, called The Cackling Grackle. It's oriented around my own set of political viewpoints, which I called "left-libertarian" for lack of better terminology. Anyone interested in checking it out can subscribe by clicking the nice corporate Yahoo logo.

Mainly, I let this site go dead because I've spent the past several years involved with doing web design, photography, video, and promotion for the (gasp) adult entertainment industry. It's been a lot of hard work and a lot of fun. The current regulatory climate has made me pull back from much of what I was doing, but I still keep, er, a hand in the biz. Maybe I'll put up an entry link to the other side of my web life and identity soon. Most of my own XXX photo and video work is gone from the web right now, though, and promoting other companies' sites just isn't quite the same.
At any rate, this page is here now simply because I really didn't want anyone to look at the old one anymore and think I was a total amateur. :) Check back and there may be more interesting stuff linked from here soon. No promises.
