Is it true that homophobes are really closet cases? Yes its true, guys who got a problem with faggots and get obsessed about showing it off are WEAK, they got a desire for dick and they can't handle it.

I think a lot of the hostility that many straight skins show toward the idea of skins being gay comes out of a fear that the cover skin provides for affection and friendship among men could be jeopardized if a hug between skinmates could be taken as a sexual come-on. A lot of guys growing up find that the people who get them hardest are other guys and they can't deal with that. They think being gay is being a wimp so they become as hard as they can, as masculine as they can, hoping that if it doesn't cure them of their homosexuality, at least no one will suspect. It doesn't work. And out gay men know that the guys who talk loudest about hating faggots are the same ones who come sneaking in the back door of the gay bar a few years later. This is as true of skinheads as it is of the US Marines.

How can you be gay and skin? Isn't that a contradiction?

If you are skin and are attracted to another guy you are still skin. There is nothing contradictory about that. It is the gay community that is not compatible with the skinhead scene.

Gay skinheads have made, and will continue to make contributions to the culture! Just because your gay dosent mean your a limp wristed, girly talking, whimp. Most gay skins I know would kick the shit out of someone for calling them a poseur! Do you guys do any work against homophobia and shit like that and you say you hate politics, but in a scene where, no offence you are more or less not wanted by lots of skins (not including myself ) how do you cope and how can you not get into the politics of it all?

Just by being here and knowing homosexuality is an ordinary part of life and not letting that stop us from claiming skin does more to end homophobia than yelling a few tired gay pride slogans.

You will just make it easier for gays to dress up like skins and destroy the scene. Don't appropriate skin!

We are skinheads, and keeping it to those who respect the scene. The name of this site has attracted all sorts of people for all sorts of reasons so we are now working to make it more clear what we are about, and what we are not about. While we welcome gays who are serious about claiming skin, we are actively opposing any use of this site to rip off the skinhead movement the way newagers ripped off Indians.

Why are you so hard on fetishists? You sound like Puritanical Americans!

We are not anti-sex. The net is crawling with "gay skinheads" looking to place sex ads and organize orgies, but QSB is for regular Skins who happen to be gay, or who respect that you can be gay and skin. A lot of us feel the gay skinhead scene is a ridiculous ripoff of skin, and a few are involved in both the Skinhead and gayskin scenes, but they are SEPARATE scenes.

Do you wear rainbow flags at shows and hit on guys?
