SEPTEMBER 12, 2048, ASPEN,
CO-- What a great time! 20 die-hard duellists, ranging from
new to the game to 15 years or more playing made the trek
from four states to compete in this year's AADA World Championship
at Tacticon in Denver, CO.

The field
of 20 before Duelling begins

Rob Deis, himself a 15 year veteran and
2-time World Championship finalist, refereed the duelling portion
of the event; while Norman McMullen of the New Omaha Vehicular Association
refereed the racing protion.
Once the convention began, Tacticon officials
were very helpful, and even went so far as to reserve a large private
room for the event.

After the dust had settled, three players had risen above
the rest. Winning the event was Miles Messervy of
Westminister, Colorado; Amit Sarkar of Lakewood, Colorado
took second, and defending champion Garth Anderson of
Las Vegas, Nevada, placed third.
