| This event is the basic Car Wars arena slugfest, with a slight twist to challenge your design abilities. Rather than having the design be limited by the total cash you can spend, the car design is instead limited by the total number of spaces worth of equipment you are allowed to buy. Don't be limited to the basic, boring Compact- this event is meant to bring out much more of your creativity than that. |

Special Design Rules:
The vehicle chosen must have a total equipment capacity of 10 spaces or less after the body, sloping, streamlining, external weapons pods, turrets, rocket platforms, car top carriers, or other capacity increasing devices are purchased. If you wish to choose to use a flying or floating vehicle type you may. However, remember that any vehicle that exceeds 15 feet in altitude is essentially killed, so this may not be a good idea. If you're going to bring an odd vehicle type (like a microplane, for instance), make arrangements with the ref in advance so there is an appropriate miniature available for you. (If would also be nice of you to remind at least the ref, and probably the group, of any obscure rules you intend to make use of.)
