Othello Page

"Black moves first"

Othello is a game I enjoyed during my youth, but not many people played it and I quickly ran out of opponents. In recent years, computers have surpassed human players. Additionally, Othello servers have come online, where two players (human or computer) can play across the Internet---some of them are the top players of the world. So now I can find many challenging opponents, and get beat often. : - )

During my study of Othello, I've compiled a couple of resources: annotated bibliography on Othello programming, and a catalog of Othello openings. In my Art Gallery, you can find an Othello scene that I created.
