A Cherry Coffe Table

This cherry table has a jatoba base and a figured cherry top.   The top is finished with dewaxed orange shellac and lacquer.  Both were polished.  The base is finished with a cherry stain, buffed and waxed.

The top is built up from three pieces of cherry.  The outer two are from the same tree.  The center piece is a finely figured piece of cherry. Click on the [really big] link to get a good close up.
