Other Fun Stuff from the makers of Problem Child

Still can't get enough? Then check out these nifty items:

69 by Steven Schwartz

69 is a charming little chapbook by Steven Schwartz. Set at an orgy, each section is exactly 69 words long and is told from the point of view of one of the guests. From voyeurs to volunteers to people in the middle of a happy pile of bodies, each has a unique perspective to share. Some are funny, some poignant; all interconnect to tell a tale of joy and surprising tenderness.

Previous customers report that these make great stocking stuffers, Valentine's Day gifts, and so forth. We also condone buying just one for the nightstand, to be savored in tiny bites just before bed, like a fine chocolate. The text has also been performed to great acclaim, from Black Books' Perverts Put Out! performance series to Wiscon. (Host your own 69! Cool performance packet available on request. Contact us for details.)

Fun fact: 69 was actually the first venture from the folks who are bringing you Problem Child, and who sometimes call themselves Blue Frog Press/Peculiar Editions. (BFP is Lori, and Peculiar Editions is Steven.) It's almost sold out its first print run, just on word of mouth! Wow! Can you tell we're proud of our little baby? Thought so.

$5.00 postpaid.

Or send concealed cash, money order, or check to PO Box 460310, San Francisco, CA 94146-0310.

Problem Child Stickers and Buttons

Only $1 each! These aren't ours, actually. We're co-opting them. I don't think the folks at Unamerican Activities will mind, though, since we're just gonna point you in their direction rather than rip them off or anything. Head to their site for details, and tell 'em we sent you, OK? (The sticker you're looking for is in Series Seven.)

The XY Conspiracy

The XY Conspiracy is a little project dreamed up by Lori. It's a "fictional website" -- not exactly hypertext fiction, but close. The "story" is all about alien conspiracies and the biology of gender, and how these two topics combine in all sorts of interesting ways while on a road trip to Reno. I had a lot of fun putting this together; I hope you enjoy poking around the site, too. (You might even learn something, too! Ohmigod, infotainment!)

I hope to put together a "text remix" of this project someday. Soon to be published as a chapbook? It could happen...
