Welcome to the Enlightenment Customization Faq-O-Matic

Shortly after I decided to create my Enlightenment customization FAQ. Two things happened.
  1. The Enlightenment 0.16 moved from the development stage to production.
  2. the Efaq at http://e.i-docs.org/ has gone through some major revisions.
The first item is important to this FAQ because, Enlightenment 0.16 has builtin customization tools that 0.15 doesn't have. The second thing is important because, it finally looks as if there is a serious attempt to bring good documentation to The Enlightenment Window Manager.

I feel that my FAQ can still be of use, if I position it to be complimentary to the Efaq. My basic idea is that Efaq will contain the definitive answer to questions regarding Enlightenment, but if you can't find an answer to your question when you need it, you can come here to get a timely solution.

The whole thing boils down to a question of timing. Since I will be using Faq-O-Matic, my site will be able to run at a faster pace. While Efaq is taking the time to create a set of definitive answers, you can come here for the quick and dirty solution.

Since Enlightenment is under constant development, and the user base is changing, the need for a place to get quick answers to new questions will be with us for the near future.

For the time being this sight will still concentrate on customization. This may change depending on user demand, especially if I have volunteers to manage sub-sections of this FAQ.
