If you would like to tinker with the Primordial Life source code, you'll need Visual C++. You can probably build it with other compilers as well although it will be more work. I've recently built it with Visual C++ 6.0. The source code is sloppy in parts and not heavily commented. If you'd like to make improvements to the source code and share it with others, please feel free to do so. You may want to coordinate with other software developers on the Primordial Life Design mailing list. I'll review the code and post it back on this website. If you have any questions, just ask.
