Reciprocal Admission Benefits

This Reciprocal Admission Guide, covering 136 cities and 265 institutions, is supplied to members of the Texas Association of Museums as a special privilege of membership. Reciprocal admission allows members of TAM to visit participating institutions and their exhibits free of charge with the exception of some special exhibitions. This does not include admission to programs or special events.

Several museums have extended discounts in their museum shops. Participating institutions are listed alphabetically by cities.

Many museums have in-depth profiles in TAM's searchable database, MuseSearch. Is your institution listed in MuseSearch? If not, simply click here and complete and submit the MuseSearch Questionnaire.

Reciprocal admission is granted as a professional courtesy, and those wishing to receive reciprocal admission must present a current TAM membership card.

Free refers to museums with no admission charge; No Charge indicates no admission fee for card-carrying TAM members.
