ENGL 2323 British Literature: 18th Century to the Present is a survey of the great works, authors, and literary periods from the late 18th century, through Romanticism, the Victorian era, Modernism, and Postmodernism.
English 2323 is a reading-intensive course and, to a lesser degree, a writing-intensive course; be ready to do a lot of reading, journal entries every week, and two to three formal literary studies during this semester.
This schedule will be ready shortly before semester start.

Getting started. In this first week of English 2323, you have a bunch of things to do:
- Fill out the questionnaire.
- Write the get-acquainted note and read these notes so we can all know something about each other. (Our notes will be password-protected.)
- Read the requirements for this section of ENGL 2323, taught by David McMurrey.
- Take the quiz on these requirements.
- Visit the chatroom for this course at one of the following times:
