Consulting Services
Web Consulting
I do consulting work; mainly creating unique and innovative programs that
enhance and extend the capabilities of your Web site. I'm also quite failiar
with the planning, setup, and configuration of Unix (SunOS and Irix) and
Windows NT web servers. I'm not a graphic
designer or a HTML writer, although I can put you in contact with people
who do those things, too.
A Little About Me
I'm a computer professional; I work full time for a Bethesda, Maryland firm
called Quantum Research Corporation. At QRC,
I'm a database and network administrator, responsible for the company's and some
of our clients' file, database, and Web servers.
QRC has been involved in the Web for several years, and has provided Web-related
services to several clinets, including The National
Science Foundation, The Smithsonian Institution,
and Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
QRC has recently released a program called
WebInterchange,
that is a powerful tool for designing dynamic web sites.
Work I've Done
In addition to work I've done for QRC's clients,
I've written JavaScript and Common Gateway Interface (CGI) scripts for several
web sites. You can visit the Snack Food Association,
where I've coded the CGI scripts that they use for their games and give-away
promotions.
The National Museum of American Art has a new
American Photography
exhibit, and I've done a considerable amount of work for them.
