The postcard views range from the 1890s to the 1950s. The color postcards were mostly tinted by hand, so if the coloring looks unrealistic, blame the postcard company! Mixed in with the postcards are some illustrations from Harper's Weekly and Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper during the 1870s and 1880s, as well as a few paintings and drawings by Richard Petri and Herman Lungkwitz.
