(Firegate, Thelbane) Today, in the middle of a public square in Firegate, Mordred Osricson made a public announcement, having first called the press together, at the same time being very mysterious about what he was going to say. "I formally and with a heavy heart apologize for killing my brother, Mosley," he said into a Firenze-made microphone. "It was wrong of me to kill him. Not because he hadn't done evil things -- because he had -- but because it was not his fault he was the way he was. I should have rescued him from the horror that was Thule. He was young enough to be saved, and I see that now. I no longer blame him for his actions -- I blame his elders, who he innocently trusted, and led him down the path of racism, fascism, and into the madness of war. But this is not a time for accusations. Mosley was a tool, and I should have showed him the error of his ways, rather than simply destroying him. I regret taking the easy -- and sinful -- path of murder, or fratricide. I know better now. I extend my apology to everyone who knew and loved Mosley, and to House Chanicut, especially Max Chanicut." Mordred waited for the noise from the shocked crowd to die down before he continued. "Recently," says Mordred. "I had my soul torn asunder, and placed into two different bodies, an experience I would not wish on my worst enemy. I thank the Powers Above that the body that contained my gentler self -- a literal babe in the woods -- ended up in Haven, and I would like to formally and with much lighter heart extend my thanks to King Kelric of Haven for the aid he provided that boy, and for his help in re-joining the different souls into one body, and to remind him that that boy is not dead, and that he is me. I would also like to thank King Ches of Axis, King Jason the Mad, and the Thelbane government for the aid they also provided in this matter. The person who did this to me still runs free, but as I said before, this is not a time for accusations. I'd just like to thank everyone, and especially King Kelric, for their help." After the noise from this announcement died down, Mordred continued. "As a tying up of loose ends," says Mordred. "I would like to urge all of the Thulist factions that formed when Mosley died to conform with my father's order to disband and to report to him for judgement if you have committed any crimes against Creation. Any that does not do so immediately shall face my wrath. That is all." With that, Mordred stalked away from the microphone and disappeared in a Trump rainbow. Spectators who were close to the Prince noted that while he looked as he usually did, right down to his long white hair and Parys military uniform, his eyes were a deep shade of blue.
