IO, a global leader in software-defined data centers, today announced two new customers for its data center technology platform. By selecting IO, these companies gain a high-performance, secure solution that can scale quickly, and is energy-efficient and cloud-ready.
The companies will deploy standardized, UL-listed IO.Anywhere modules with Intelligent Control® via the IO.OS operating system, which provides superior data center telemetry, visibility, analytics, and physical and logical optimization. In addition, because the customers have chosen to deploy in IO’s global DCaaS footprint, they will have the option to quickly and securely increase capacity within a highly reliable and secure environment.
The new IO customers are:
- Larsen & Toubro Infotech, a global IT services and solutions provider.
- ACT Oncology LLC, a full-service clinical research organization specializing in providing outstanding, cost-effective and responsive oncology drug development support for biotech, pharmaceutical and non-profit oncology organizations.
“IO is very pleased to welcome these thought-leading organizations to Data Center 2.0,” said Peter McNamara, Executive Leader, Global Sales and Customer Operations, IO. “For these customers, DCaaS is the best of all worlds. It allows them to benefit from the cost, energy and operational benefits of IO hardware and software, with minimal capital expenditures, guaranteed uptime, and the ability to stay focused on their core businesses.”
IO.DCaaS provides customers the agility to deploy data center capacity quickly that is delivered at secure, reliable locations, which have multiple layers of protection, and are backed with a 100 percent uptime SLA. It offers flexible deployment options, from a single cabinet in a shared environment to dedicated modules and infrastructure. IO provides carrier-neutral data centers with a choice of multiple telecommunications carriers and free cross-connects.
