IO to Sponsor Pro-Am, Corporate Village and Interactive teaching Center

PHOENIX, Ariz. – Arizona-based IO Data Centers, a leading provider of wholesale colocation and data center solutions and FBR Open hosts, The Thunderbirds, have agreed on a multi-level sponsorship and charitable partnership for the 2010 tournament. Under the agreement IO Data Centers will become the official sponsor of the IO Data Centers Pro-Am, to be played Monday, February 22nd, 2010 on the TPC Scottsdale Stadium Course, title sponsor of the IO Data Centers Corporate Village and sponsor the IO Data Centers Interactive Teaching Center – to be located in Corporate Village. IO Data Centers will also be the official data center provider of the FBR Open. In addition, a portion of IO’s sponsorship dollars will be donated to Phoenix Children’s Hospital on behalf of The Thunderbirds and IO Data Centers.

“We’re really excited to have IO Data Centers on board as a sponsor of the 2010 FBR Open,” said Tournament Chairman David Rauch. “Not only is IO stepping to the plate in a big way to sponsor one of our pro-ams, our corporate village and an interactive teaching center, but they also share The Thunderbirds’ passion for raising money for charity, in this case Phoenix Children’s Hospital.”

“IO Data Centers is pleased to work with the Thunderbirds as they host this renowned event and looks forward to raising funds for Phoenix Children’s Hospital,” said IO CEO George Slessman. “We felt this was a unique opportunity to contribute to the community and be a part of one of the PGA Tour’s greatest venues.”
